Our Achievements

Our Achievements

Looking back since inception, we have been able to moderately impact on the lives of our young people. For instance, we have over five hundred (500) registered members. We have also organized several series of seminars, conference, skill aquisation program and a basketball competition in Lagos, using Festac Town – our pilot catchment area. There we have sixty-seven (67) of our members in our basketball academy as a starting point.  We also wish to inform you that our team won the first Amuwo-Odofin Ward-K Basketball competition in 2009.

Similarly, we have recorded a modest achievement in six African countries [Ghana, Congo-Kinshasha, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Cameroun and Liberia] through our programmes, where we trained different groups of youth in vocational skills, to enable them to be self-reliant. [We also paid acceptance fees for one of our members at Caleb University Magodo in Lagos in October, 2008. We hope to put the fellow on full scholarship, being an orphan- is he yet an undergrad?]

In addition, three [3] out of our job-seeking graduates got a reference letter from us to DANSA FOODS LTD, while another one also got a reference letter from us leading hopefully to employment in a new-generation bank.

In our continuous vocational training, two [2] members have finished undergoing training in one of our skill-empowerment initiatives, through our empowerment programmes.

We have a team of human resource professionals who have over ten [10] years on the job, and also have various background, experience and skills relevant to what we do. Their wealth of experience is world-class and second to none, including their dedication to the cause of enlightenment and empowerment.
