What We Discovered

What We Discovered

A segment of the youth has no avenue to expend their mental and physical energy. As a result of this, our nation and continent is constantly under siege: violent crimes such as kidnapping and armed robberies are daily affair as government, private organization and individuals are constantly in fear of their, security, property and lives. The mounting wave of teenage prostitution, banditry, smuggling, thuggery and other crimes in our environment are borne out of frustration and despair.

Our world faces multiple interconnected crimes with severe and far reaching horrors that fall disproportionately on the young people. In an increasingly urbanized society such as ours, where the spirit of fellow-feelings is getting diminished, the economy is progressively declining, and the operating economic environment is increasingly hostile other than conducive. We observed that young people [children, women and teenagers] are usually the most vulnerable.

Apart from rising youth unemployment, the nation has not been able to provide enough facilities for education, sports, health and other essential services that benefit the young people.

A wise saying goes thus “An uninformed youth is a teeming army of idle young
people which is a time-bomb that should be gradually defused”.
